CapeNature was a dream brief for World Wide Creative's team. The old site was static, yet still managed to receive healthy traffic - a sure sign that there was latent potential. Immediately after the new site launch, we tracked a profound spike in traffic, purely on better optimisation and use of social media functionality. The result: a highly profitable, yet visually appealing online presence.
With World Wide Creative's creative studio based in Cape Town, this project was close to our heart. Cape Town Partnership has been at the centre of a profound urban renewal scheme that has seen the Mother City become one of the leading tourist and business destinations on the planet. The result: an instant increase in website traffic and an incredible growth in their social community members.
Leading up to the most important election Africa has experienced in a generation, the Democratic Alliance required an effective web presence to take on the might of the African National Congress. World Wide Creative were briefed to emulate, and where possible, exceed the tactics of Barack Obama in the South African online environment. The result: a highly functional community building web presence that pundits agreed trounced other parties' web efforts.
One of the world's most impressive alcoholic beverage producers, Distell is creating an international footprint in key markets in North and Latin America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Africa. World Wide Creative was briefed to research and analyse digital opportunities for one of its fastest growing and most exciting brands "Vawter".
The campaign consisted of two phases: 1) Building the community numbers via a case related competition. 2) Driving sales through the FlashMob FireSale campaign.
Quote from Marius Greeff, Marketing Manager at Exclusive Books:
"World Wide Creatives value to our company is incredible. This has brought our brand to the forefront of social media executions in South Africa, and made us an example to other brands of what the opportunities are. They have also made social media channels into revenue-generating channels for our business. World Wide Creative have set themselves ambitious goals in terms of our brand, and through hard work and industry insight they have delivered on every single one."
Fancourt is one of the world's most famous golfing destinations. With Gary Player, Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus frequenting its hallowed hills, this eminent hotel and spa resort required something special to highlight its class and luxury. The result: an immediate elevation to the authority destination for Tretchikoff's work worldwide.
The "Win it All" Campaign for Virgin Mobile South Africa's Post-paid products had two objectives: 1) Increase engagement within their online community, 2) Increase sales for Post-Paid products. With a strong Facebook focus we had community members tag photos relating to performers at the V Festival UK, with the opportunity to win the contents of those photos. For the winners of the grand prize (a trip to the V Festival UK), we gave them their own blogs to post updates, photos and videos of their experiences at the festival.
